"On" thường dùng với bề mặt hoặc nơi cao như on a farm, on an island.
"In" dùng với địa điểm chung như in the country, in town, in the mountains, in the suburbs.
"At" dùng với địa chỉ cụ thể hoặc điểm nhất định như at 17 Walkley Road, at the door, at the crossroads.
