I. Lý thuyết
1. Định nghĩa cấu trúc Not Only…. But Also
Cấu trúc Not only… but also là 1 dạng cấu trúc ngữ pháp tiếng Anh được dùng khá phổ biến, có nghĩa là: “Không những …. mà còn ….”. Cấu trúc này được sử dụng để nhấn mạnh về đặc tính, hành động của 1 sự vật, sự việc nào đó. Not only… but also dùng để nối đồng thời nhấn mạnh 2 từ hay cụm từ có cùng vị trí, tính chất.
2. Cấu trúc Not only ... but also cơ bản
Cấu trúc Not only… but also có nghĩa là không chỉ/ không những … mà còn, đây là cấu trúc dùng để nối hoặc nhấn mạnh hai từ/ cụm từ có cùng tính chất, vị trí.

2.1. Nhấn mạnh tính từ
Công thức:

2.2. Nhấn mạnh danh từ

2.3. Nhấn mạnh ĐỘNG TỪ
Công thức:

2.4. Nhấn mạnh trạng từ
Công thức:

Công thức:

4. Lưu ý về vị trí của chữ ALSO
4.1. Câu có động từ thường: từ ALSO sẽ đứng trước động từ thường
Ví dụ:

4.2. Câu có động từ TO BE: từ ALSO sẽ đứng sau động từ TO BE
Ví dụ:

4.3. Câu có trợ động từ và động từ thường: từ ALSO sẽ đứng ở giữa
