I. Lý thuyết Trạng từ trong tiếng Anh

VD: well (tốt), quickly (nhanh chóng), fully (hoàn toàn), mainly (chủ yếu là), easily (dễ dàng),…

VD: Tom drives the car carelessly.

VD: We often go to Nha Trang in the summertime.

VD: It’s a reasonably cheap restaurant, and the food was extremely good.

VD: John learns languages terribly quickly.

VD: Unfortunately, the bank was closed by the time I got here.

VD:

  • She always arrives early. (Cô ấy luôn đến sớm)

  • He drives carefully. (Anh ấy lái xe cẩn thận)

  • They go everywhere together. (Họ đi mọi nơi cùng nhau)

  • She eats slowly. (Cô ấy ăn rất chậm)

  • It is terribly hot.

Hãy thử so sánh hai câu: 1. The dog ran (con chó chạy), 2. The dog ran excitedly (con chó chạy một cách thích thú).

VD:

  • He plays tennis well. (Anh ấy chơi tennis giỏi)

4. Phân loại trạng từ trong tiếng Anh

  1. Trạng từ chỉ cách thức

  2. Trạng từ chỉ nơi chốn

  3. Trạng từ chỉ tần suất

  4. Trạng từ chỉ thời gian

  5. Trạng từ chỉ mục đích

Bạn hãy thử áp dụng vào câu dưới đây:

I run quickly down the road every morning before school because I might miss the bus. (Tôi chạy nhanh xuống đường mỗi ngày trước khi đi học bởi tôi có thể bỏ lỡ chuyến xe buýt)

Trong đó:

run – động từ

quicky – trạng từ chỉ cách thức

down the road – trạng từ chỉ địa điểm

every morning – trạng từ chỉ tần suất

before school – trạng từ chỉ thời gian

because – trạng từ chỉ mục đích

VD: He spoke in a friendly way.

  • Good -> Well

Trạng từ của good là well. VD: He’s a good brother. He treats me well.

VD: I had headache last week but I’m well now.

  • Fast -> Fast

VD: He run fast. (Anh ấy chạy nhanh)

  • Hard -> Hard

I had stomach ache last week but I’m well this week.
