Các mẫu câu cơ bản về chức năng giao tiếp trong tiếng Anh

Các bạn thí sinh thường không nắm được cách làm dạng bài chức năng giao tiếp một cách hiệu quả. Vì các bạn không nắm được ngữ cảnh của đoạn đối thoại khiến việc tìm câu trả lời trở nên khó khăn. Nên TIW đã đưa ra các dạng câu giao tiếp tiếng Anh có thể xuất hiện trong bài thi THPT Quốc gia và cách trả lời bạn có thể tham khảo.

1. Thu thập và xác định thông tin

a) Câu hỏi với câu trả lời Có hoặc Không – Yes/No Question

Câu hỏi: là các câu bắt đầu bằng các trợ động từ am, is, are, was, were, do, does, did. Hoặc động từ khuyết thiếu như: will, would, have, may, might, can, could…

Câu trả lời: câu sẽ bắt đầu bằng từ Yes hoặc No và có thêm thông tin liên quan.

Bên cạnh đó, chúng ta còn có thể trả lời bằng cấu trúc thay thế:

  • Thể hiện sự mong đợi: I think/ believe/ hope/ expect / guess so. (Tôi nghĩ/ tin/ hy vọng/ mong/ đoán thế).

  • Thể hiện sự đồng thuận: Sure/ Actually/ Of course/ Right,… (Dĩ nhiên/ Chắc chắn rồi.)

  • Thể hiện sự không đồng thuận: I don’t think/ believe/ expect/ guess so. (Tôi không nghĩ/ tin/ mong/ cho rằng thế).

  • Thể hiện sự gợi ý cho một hành động: I hope/ believe/ guess/ suppose not. (Tôi hy vọng/ tin/ đoán/ cho là không).

  • Thể hiện sự không đồng tình: I’m afraid not. (Tôi e rằng không).

b) Câu hỏi dạng lựa chọn – Or question

Câu hỏi: thường có từ “or” nhằm yêu cầu người trả lời phải lựa chọn một phương án.

Câu trả lời: là sự lựa chọn một trong hai sự lựa chọn được đưa ra trong câu hỏi.

Ví dụ về dạng câu hỏi lựa chọn:

  • A: Would you like a coffee or tea?

  • B: Coffee, please.

Lưu ý: bạn không được phép trả lời Yes/No cho dạng câu hỏi này.

c) Câu hỏi dùng từ để hỏi – Wh-question

Câu hỏi: bắt đầu dùng các từ để hỏi như: what, which, who, whose, where, when, why, how,.. Trong câu hỏi sẽ thường xuất hiện dạng đảo ngữ hoặc mượn thêm trợ động từ.

Câu trả lời: dựa vào câu hỏi đề đưa ra thông tin trả lời.

  • What did he talk about? – His familly.

  • When did you come back? – I came back yesterday.

  • Which of these pens is yours? – The red one.

  • Why do you want to be a doctor? – Because I want to help the sick.

  • How do you go to school? – I go to school by bus.

d) Câu hỏi đuôi – Tag question

Câu hỏi: thường được dùng để xác nhận thông tin.

Câu trả lời: tương tự câu hỏi Yes/No.

Ví dụ dạng câu hỏi đuôi:

  • Jane left early for the first train, didn’t she? – Yes, she did.

  • Peter has been living in Rome for a long time, hasn’t he? – No, he hasn’t.

e) Hỏi đường hoặc lời chỉ dẫn – Asking for directions or instructions

c) Ra về và chào tạm biệt – Leaving and saying goodbye

Báo hiệu cho sự ra về và gửi lời tạm biệt:

  • I’m afraid I have to be going now/I have to leave now. (E rằng bây giờ tôi phải đi)

  • It’s getting late so quickly. (Trời mau tối quá)

  • I had a great time/evening. (Tôi rất vui/có một buổi tối rất tuyệt vời)

  • I really enjoyed the party and the talk with you. (Tôi thật sự thích buổi tiệc và trò chuyện với bạn)

  • Thank you very much for a lovely evening. (Cảm ơn về buổi tối tuyệt vời)

f) Xin lỗi – Apologizing

Lời xin lỗi:

  • It’s totally my fault (Hoàn toàn là lỗi của tôi)

  • I apologize to you for … (Tôi xin lỗi bạn vì…)

  • I shouldn't have done that (Tôi lẽ ra đừng nên làm thế)

Lời đáp:

  • It doesn’t matter (Không sao đâu)

  • Forget it/Never mind/No problem/That’s all right /Ok (Không sao)

  • You really don’t have to apologize. (Thật ra anh không cần phải xin lỗi đâu)

h) Sự cảm thông – Sympathy

Lời cảm thông

  • Lời diễn đạt sự thông cảm:

  • I’m sorry to hear that…(Tôi lấy làm tiếc khi biết rằng…)

  • I feel sorry for you. (Tôi lấy làm tiếc cho bạn)

  • I think I understand how you feel. (Tôi nghĩ tôi có thể hiểu được cảm giác của bạn thế nào)

  • You have to learn to accept it. (Bạn phải học cách chấp nhận điều đó thôi)

  • Thank you very much (Cám ơn rất nhiều)

3. Các dạng bài chức năng giao tiếp liên quan đến lời yêu cầu và xin phép

a) Sự yêu cầu – Making request

Lời yêu cầu:

  • Can /Could / Will / Would you please … (Anh /Chị làm ơn …)

  • Would mind V-ing ( Anh /Chị có phiền …)

  • Would it be possible … ( Liệu có )

  • I wonder if …( Tôi tự hỏi rằng …)

Lời đáp:

Đồng ý:

  • Sure/ Certainly/ Of course. (Dĩ nhiên là được)

  • No problem. (Không vấn đề gì)

  • I’m happy to. (Tôi sẵn lòng)

Từ chối:

  • I’m afraid I can’t. I’m busy now/ I’m using it. (Tôi e rằng không thể. Bây giờ tôi đang bận/tôi đang dùng nó)

  • I don’t think it’s possible. (Tôi cho là không thể được)

  • It’s OK if I do it later? (Lát nữa có được không?)

b) Xin phép – Asking for permission

Lời xin phép:

  • May/Might/Can/Could I…? (Xin phép cho tôi…?)

  • Do you mind if I…?/ Would you mind if I…? (Bạn có phiền không nếu tôi…?)

  • Is it OK if…? (Liệu có ổn không nếu…?)

  • Anyone mind if…(Có ai phiền không nếu…)

  • Do you think I can/could…? (Bạn có nghĩ là tôi có thể…?)

Lời đáp:

Đồng ý:

  • Sure/Certainly/Of course/Ok. (Tất nhiên rồi)

  • Go ahead/ You can. (Cứ tự nhiên)

  • Do it! Don’t ask. (Cứ làm đi! Đừng hỏi)

Từ chối:

  • I’m afraid you can’t. (Tôi e rằng không được)

  • I don’t think you can. (Tôi cho rằng không được)

  • No, you can’t/ No, not now. (Không. Bây giờ thì không)

4. Dạng câu giao tiếp than phiền hoặc chỉ trích

Lời than phiền hoặc chỉ trích:

  • You should have asked for permission first. (Lẽ ra bạn phải xin phép trước)

  • You shouldn’t have done that. (Lẽ ra bạn không nên làm điều đó)

  • Why didn’t you listen to me? (Sao bạn lại không chịu nghe tôi nhỉ?)

  • You’re late again. (Anh lại đi trễ)

  • You damaged my mobile phone! (Anh lại làm hỏng chiếc điện thoại di động của tôi rồi!)

  • No one but you did it. (Anh chứ không ai khác làm điều đó)

Lời đáp:

  • I’m terribly sorry. I didn’t meant that. (Tôi thành thật xin lỗi. Tôi không cố ý làm vậy)

  • I’m sorry but I had no choice. (Xin lỗi nhưng tôi không còn sự lựa chọn nào khác)

  • I’m sorry but the thing is… (Tôi xin lỗi nhưng chuyện là thế này…)

  • Not me! (Không phải tôi!)

5. Dạng bài chức năng giao tiếp bày tỏ quan điểm của người nói

a) Đồng ý và từ chối – Agreeing and Disagreeing

Lời đồng ý:

  • I (totally/completely/absolutely) agree with you (Tôi hoàn toàn đồng ý)

  • Absolutely/Definitely (Dĩ nhiên rồi)

  • Exactly (Chính xác)

  • That’s true/That’s it (Đúng vậy)

  • That's just what I think (Đúng với những gì tôi nghĩ)

Lời từ chối:

  • I may be wrong but … (Tôi có thể sai nhưng …)

  • I see what you mean but I think (Tôi hiểu ý bạn nhưng…)

  • Personally, I think that …(Theo ý kiến cá nhân của tôi …)

  • You are wrong there (Bạn sai rồi)

b) Hỏi và đưa ra ý kiến – Asking for and Expressing opinions

Lời hỏi ý kiến:

  • What do you think about…? (Bạn nghĩ gì về…?)

  • What is your opinion about/ on…? (Ý kiến của bạn về…là như thế nào?)

Đáp án đúng là B. Janet sẽ tập trung trả lời cho câu hỏi WH-question là làm cái gì (What) để sống (for living). Nên B – He is a doctor (Anh ấy là bác sĩ) là câu trả lời phù hợp.

A. Phương án sai – He lives in London – Anh ấy sống ở London. Câu này nói về nơi sinh sống nên không phải là nội dung trả lời cho câu hỏi.

B. Phương án sai – His name is Daniel (Anh ấy tên là Daniel). Câu trả lời cho tên của nhân vật.

D. Phương án sai – Thanks, he is very well (Cảm ơn, anh ấy rất ổn)

Hướng dẫn trả lời:

Kiểu câu yêu cầu: “Could you help me to get some water?” (Bạn có thể giúp tôi lấy một ít nước được không?)

Đáp án đúng là A – “It doesn’t matter” (Không thành vấn đề). Đây là câu trả lời cho câu yêu cầu.

B. Phương án sai. “With pleasure” (Với sự hài lòng). Câu này không liên hệ chặt chẽ với câu đề nghị.

C. Phương án sai. “ It’s a pleasure” (Đó là một niềm vui). Câu không liên hệ chặt chẽ với câu đề nghị.

D. Phương án sai. “Never mind” (Đừng bận tâm).
