A. Lý thuyết 

 I. TOO and SO

- nghĩa là cũng vậy, sử dụng đối với câu khẳng định 

1/ đối với tobe, động từ khuyết thiếu: am , is ,are, was, were, will, can…

Ví dụ: 

-She is good( They) ? So are they ? they are ,too

- She can swim ( he) ? So can he ? he can, too

2/ Đối với động từ thường

• . Đối với động từ thường ở hiện tại 

a.So do( we, you, they, I, chủ từ số nhiều). So does ( he/ she/it/ chủ từ số ít)

Ví dụ:

- They work hard ( I ) ? So do I.

- They work hard ( She) ? So does she

b. ( we, you, they, I, chủ từ số nhiều) do, too. ( he/ she/it/ chủ từ số ít) does, too

Ví dụ:

- They work hard ( You ) ? You do, too.

- They work hard ( She) ? She does , too

• Đối với động từ thường ở quá khứ 

a.So did( we, you, they, I, chủ từ số nhiều,he ,she ,it/,chủ từ số ít)

Ví dụ: 

- They worked hard ( I ) ? So did I.

- They worked hard ( She) ? So did she

b. ( we, you, they, I, chủ từ số nhiều,he ,she ,it/,chủ từ số ít) did, too

Ví dụ:

- They bought a hat  ( You ) ? You did, too.

- They made a cake  ( She) ? She did , too

2. EITHER and NEITHER

- nghĩa là cũng không, sử dụng đối với câu phủ định 

1/ đối với tobe, động từ khuyết thiếu:

Neither + am  , is   ,are  , was  , were , will  , can …+ Chủ từ

Ví dụ:

- She isn’t good( They) ? Neither are they 

-  She can’t swim ( he) ? Neither can he 

Chủ từ + am not , is not  ,are not , was not , were not, will not , can not…,either

Ví dụ:

- She isn’t good( They) ? They are not, either 

- She can’t swim ( he) ? He can’t, either 

2/ Đối với động từ thường

• Đối với động từ thường ở hiện tại 

a.Neither do( we, you, they, I, chủ từ số nhiều). Neither does ( he/ she/it/ chủ từ số ít)

Ví dụ:

- They don’t work hard ( I ) ? Neither do I .

- They don’t work hard ( She) ? Neither does she

b. ( we, you, they, I, chủ từ số nhiều) don’t, either. ( he/ she/it/ chủ từ số ít) doesn’t, either

Ví dụ:

- They don’t work hard ( You ) ? You don’t, either.

- They don’t work hard ( She) ? She doesn’t , either

• Đối với động từ thường ở quá khứ 

a.Neither did( we, you, they, I, chủ từ số nhiều,he ,she ,it/,chủ từ số ít)

Ví dụ:

- They didn’t work hard ( I ) ? Neither did I.

- They didn’t work hard ( She) ? Neither  did she

b. ( we, you, they, I, chủ từ số nhiều,he ,she ,it/,chủ từ số ít) didn’t, either

Ví dụ:

- They didn’t buy a hat  ( You ) ? You didn’t, either.

- They didn’t make a cake  ( She) ?She didn’t ,either.
