1. Look, listen and repeat.

- Ask Ss to identify the characters.

Who is this?

Who are they? What are they doing?

- Have Ss listen and repeat the short conversation

- Have Ss play role to read the dialog in groups.

- Call some pairs to read the conversation.

- Check Ss’ understanding:

- Have ss look at the picture and identify the characters.

-Teach vocabulary: last, thougth, enjoy, join, funfair

- Sentence: Did you ……..? -> Yes,I did/ No I didn’t

- Do picture a as a model.

    Did you play football? -> Yes,I did/ No I didn’t

- Have Ss work in pairs to practice.

- Call some pairs to talk in front of the class.

- Do the same

Call on some pairs to perform the task at the front of the class. Have the whole class repeat all the phrases in chorus to reinforce their pronunciation.

- Ask pupils to open their students’ books on page 19.

- Ask them to look at modal sentences
