Vietnamese Mid-Autumn Festivals
The way people celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival differs from generation to generation as society keeps moving forward. Although traditional Mid-Autumn celebration activities for children and families are not so popular nowadays as they used to be decades ago, the timeless cultural value of truth, goodness, and beauty are always honoured, and practiced in a variety of ways.
There is something new about today’s Mid-Autumn Festival. It’s the presence of colourful electronic lanterns that play music, aside from the traditional star-shaped paper-and-bamboo lanterns, and a lot of baked and white mooncakes with flavours that better meet consumers’ changing tastes. Just like many other traditions, Mid-Autumn Festival has changed to catch up with the modern life.
1. People celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival differently.

3. Modern lanterns can play music.
4. Mooncakes are served in the festival.

Shooting Wildlife
Wildlife photography—whether you’re trying to photograph a herd of elephants on the Serengeti Plains or squirrels in your backyard—is patience. Wild animals are going to do what they’re going to do. Unfortunately, you can’t ask them to look this way, do something cute, or stand where the light is better. You have to be there, and ready, when they decide to look cute or do something interesting. Be prepared to wait, and wait, and wait—it takes a long time to get good wildlife shots, even longer to make great ones.
But it’s not wasted time. The longer you spend with an animal or a group of animals, the better you get to know them and their habits. You get to see different individuals, and you’ll get to the point where you can expect what they might do at a particular time of day or in a certain situation
1. We need to be patient to take good photos of wild animals.
2. Wild animals can follow our instructions.
3. It’s a waste of time to wait to get a good photo.
4. Waiting for a long time helps us know the animals’ habits better.
Choose the option that best completes each blank in the passage. Write A, B, or C in the blank.

It is no doubt that Internet use increases rapidly every day, and it offers numerous digital radio stations - about 20, 000 from all over the world. But still, around 67% of people prefer listening to old-fashioned radios each week. What are the reasons? The first reason is technology. Internet radios are often very expensive, while traditional ones are not. They also need to have an Internet connection to work well. That is very difficult for the middle-aged and pensioners to use radios in their car, at home or even at work. The second reason is that listening to the radio makes people feel good. A recent survey shows that teenagers like listening to old-fashioned radios because they feel like they have a friend talking to them. For older people, they feel like the presenters are with them in the car or at their home, talking about things and places older listeners are familiar with. Traditional radios also have suitable content for both adults and children. That is why many people choose old-fashioned radios.
